 What is CyberCAMS-2015?

Come join your fellow IT Security Consultants, Auditors, Managers and Sys-Admins for an afternoon of fun and education. You will be pointed at a target of networks, servers and workstations that emulate a realistic corporate environment. The challenge is to break through the cyber defenses and disrupt the company, or capture their secrets. You’ll learn what the bad guys are up to – and how to defend against them, to keep Hacking Away.

Why join?

  • Because it’s Fun and Educational.
  • You can Meet Other IT Pros.
  • Win Prizes and augment your Resume.
  • Earn CPE’s!

This is an entry-level and learning event.CyberCAM-2013-pros2

No hacking experience required. If you are already a super-ninja hacker dude/dudette, you will not enjoy participating. But you might want to come and mentor the others.

“Less Technical” folks will get short lectures, hand-outs, demos, and plenty of hints to help work through the events.

And, it’s a team event.CyberCAM-2013-students2

IT Security managers, auditors, and consultants can come and learn about the technical side of hacking. While sys-admins, network-admins, and helpdesk agents can learn a lot from the Security professionals who attend. You may get to teach the managers a few technical tricks, while they help you understand the big picture.
